Fanfix is a content monetization platform that allows online creators to offer subscriptions to fans and followers. The Los Angeles, CA-based company was cofounded in August 2021 by co-CEO Harry Gestetner, co-CEO Simon Pompan, and Vine star and internet personality Cameron Dallas. In June 2022, Fanfix was acquired by growth partner and marketplace incubator SuperOrdinary in a deal reportedly worth eight figures.
In addition to selling subscriptions, FanFix allows content creators to make money by allowing them to charge subscribers for exclusive content or private messaging. Users of the app are also able to tip creators on certain posts. FanFix is aimed at Gen Z creators and users and does not allow explicit content on its site. The platform also features detailed analytics that allow creators to track how many followers they have and other trending data. FanFix makes money by taking a 20 percent commission from all creators' earnings. In order to use FanFix, content creators must have at least 10,000 followers across all of their social media accounts.
