Fayez Sarofim & Co. is an investment and asset management company headquartered in Houston, Texas. It was founded in 1958 by billionaire investor Fayez Sarofim. The firm makes equity investments in companies across the globe. It has made early stage venture capital investments in the real estate technology, cyber security, network, communication technology, energy, consumer, and social media sectors. The firm has four investment strategies: large capitalization equity, global equity, core fixed income, and a balanced portfolio. In 2019 it was reported that the firm had $20 billion worth of assets under management.
