Fermentalg has developed processes and uses the same in its fermentors to process microalgae to micropopulate its mitochondria and its molecules of interest for production of biomass which can be sold as feedstock to multiple industries including animal feed human nutrition and energy. The company claims to have filed 26 patents for the processes it has developed and operates more than 30 fermenters with a capacity range from 1 to 750 L.
