Fernando Pessoa

Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935) was a Portuguese poet, writer, philosopher, and playwright. Born in Lisbon, he was a citizen of Portugal and died in the same city. Pessoa is also recognized as an author and is known for using multiple pseudonyms, including Alberto Caeiro, Álvaro de Campos, Bernardo Soares, and Ricardo Reis.

Pessoa was educated at the University of Lisbon and the University of South Africa. His work primarily focused on the genre of poetry, with The Book of Disquiet being one of his most notable works.
