Fitbod

Fitbod is a San Francisco-based developer of a fitness training application designed to offer personalized workout plans. The company's application uses machine learning to analyze user's workout data to build a real-time strength-training plan tailored to user's physical capability, available equipment and fitness goals, enabling users to maximize the use of gym equipment and workout easily.

Fitbod uses the data input by the user to help push them to new fitness levels, as well as adapting the exercises to change workouts across sessions to maximize the use of available gym equipment. Fitbod also works to keep up on best practices and integrate those into the recommendations and training plans on their application.

Fitbod can be integrated into users Apple Watch or Fitbit and in their Apple Health or Fitbit application to better track users overall health.

At the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in 2020, Fitbod announced it would offer free bodyweight workouts through and logging of those workouts through the application.
