Flora Raised $1,107,151 in Pre Seed Funding Round.
Flora Fertility, a fertility-focused insurtech company, has successfully raised $1,107,151 in a pre-seed funding round aimed at revolutionizing fertility insurance. This oversubscribed round, led by Toronto-based venture studio Highline Beta, also saw participation from Cartography Capital, Everywhere Ventures, and a strategic group of angel investors from industries such as insurance, tech, and financial services.
Flora Fertility is working on a private fertility insurance product designed to address the significant financial burden of fertility treatments, which can cost upwards of $50,000 and are often paid out of pocket. By offering an innovative, individually-owned insurance model, Flora Fertility seeks to provide customers with a more flexible and portable option than traditional group-based coverage. This new insurance plan will be marketed primarily to women, and will be distributed through partnerships with women’s health apps, small-to-medium-sized employers, and other channels across North America.
