The Football Association of Wales (FAW) is an organization in the United Kingdom, specifically in the areas of association football and sport. Founded by Llewelyn Kenrick on January 1, 1876, the FAW is based in Cardiff and currently has an active status.
The FAW is the owner of several Welsh national football teams, including the Wales national football team, Wales women's national football team, Wales national under-21 football team, Wales national under-19 football team, Wales national under-17 football team, Wales national semi-professional football team, and the Wales national under-20 football team. The FAW is a part of the parent organization UEFA.
