Frank Borzage

Frank Borzage was born on April 23, 1894, in Salt Lake City and held citizenship in the United States. He was an actor, screenwriter, film director, and film producer. Borzage won an Academy Award for Best Director during his career. He passed away on June 19, 1962, in Hollywood.

Throughout his directing career, he worked on numerous films, including "MoonRise", "The Big Fisherman", "Flirtation Walk", "The Mortal Storm", "The Spanish Main", "History Is Made at Night", and "The Shining Hour". He also directed "I Take This Woman", "Hearts Divided", "Disputed Passage", "Street Angel", "Doctors' Wives", and "Little Man, What Now?", among others.
