Frederick Reines

Frederick Reines was a physicist from the United States. He was born on March 16, 1918, in Paterson, New Jersey and passed away on August 26, 1998, in Orange, California. Reines received his education from New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology. He was a notable contributor to the study of neutrinos, and his doctoral student was Michael K. Moe.

Reines was awarded the 1995 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work in the field of particle physics.
