Fusus, previously known as SecuroNet, is a software company offering a cloud platform for crime management unifying live video, data, and sensor feeds to help enhance situational awareness and investigative abilities of public safety and law enforcement agencies that is headquartered in Peachtree Corners, Georgia and was founded in 2019 by Chris Lindenau. The Fusus platform is made to be integrated with smart cities and communities by joining private and public video sources into one platform the company calls FususONE.
The Fusus platform brings together data feeds from officer geolocators, internet of things (IoT) sensors, floor plans, and external data feeds to help the operations of tactical and emergency response teams. Accessing the Fusus data feeds can be done at a centralized location and decentralized locations using mobile devices. According to the company's website (as of June 1, 2020) there are 13,166 cameras and 77 locations associated with the Fusus platform, and there are approximately 8.13 million people being protected in places where the Fusus platform is operational.
The company's mobile applications are available on IOS and Android and allow users to view video and other data, and also stream their own video from their mobile device, transmit their location, send panic alerts, receive images and text alerts, and communicate with others on the network and their command center.
