Gabriel Venture Partners is a venture capital firm from San Mateo, California that focuses on industries in the communications, networking and information technology sectors. Founded in 1999 by Rick Bolander and Phil Samper, it provides funding for early and late stage ventures. This company assists technology entrepreneurs and technology-enabled enterprises. Gabriel II was raised during a similar period and since its start has made 32 ventures and exited Encentuate (gained by IBM), Iridigm (obtained by Qualcomm), LVL7 (acquired by Broadcom), NeoPath (acquired by Citrix), NextG Networks (acquired by private equity syndicate), Step Labs (obtained by Dolby Laboratories), and Tejas, and from India, Allsec and MakeMyTrip.
