Overview
Garuda, also known by its official names Mkha` lding, Garuḍa, Khyung, and गरुड, is a figure that holds country of citizenship in Hindu mythology. Garuda is also known as the riding bird of the god Vishnu and Simurgh.
Born to Vinata and Kashyapa in Hindu, Garuda has a sibling named Aruṇa. Garuda has a partner named Unnati and is the parent of several children: Summukha, Sunama, Sunetra, Suvarkas, Suruk, and Subala.
