American physicist
George Irving Bell (born August 4, 1926 in Evanston, Illinois) was an American biologist and physicist. He passed away on May 28, 2000, in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Bell is considered an instance of a person.
Bell received his education from two prestigious universities. He studied at Cornell University and later at Harvard University. His doctoral advisor at Cornell was Nobel laureate Hans Bethe. As a scientist, Bell made notable contributions to both biology and physics throughout his career.
