English film director, producer and screenwriter
George Pearson (1875-1973) was a British filmmaker, known for his work as a film director, screenwriter, and film producer. He was born in London and held citizenship in the United Kingdom. Pearson passed away in Malvern, Worcestershire.
During his career, he directed numerous films. Some notable titles include Huntingtower, The Ace of Spades, Midnight at Madame Tussaud's, Sally Bishop, and East Lynne on the Western Front. Other films directed by Pearson include Love, Life and Laughter, Squibs Wins the Calcutta Sweep, and Whispering Tongues.
In addition, George Pearson was also responsible for directing Mord Em'ly, Heroes of the Mine, Squibs M.P., and The Little People, among others.
