George Sylvester Morris

George Sylvester Morris was a philosopher, writer, translator, and linguist from the United States . He was born on November 15, 1840, in Norwich, Vermont . Morris was educated at various institutions, including Dartmouth College , Humboldt University of Berlin , and Union Theological Seminary in New York City . In addition to his work as a philosopher , Morris was also a writer , translator , and linguist . He passed away on March 23, 1889 . One notable aspect of his career was serving as a doctoral student for Josiah Royce .
