Gillo Pontecorvo was a multitalented Italian artist born on November 19, 1919, in Pisa. He held Italian citizenship and was known for his various occupations as a film director, actor, screenwriter, and composer. Pontecorvo passed away on October 12, 2006, in Rome. His son, Marco Pontecorvo, followed in his footsteps as a notable figure in the film industry.
