This program develops a unified hardware package that will provide not only enhanced performance but also ease of use and deployment, culminating in a fully integrated systems ready for transition. The main enhancement will be the development of a novel HF antenna design that exceeds the current technology in efficiency and deployment time and a very compact ruggedized, reduced size, weight and power (SWAP) radio tuned to maximized the waveform efficiency.  The proposed system will provide a complete communications package where all of the components complement one another, providing improved mobility, efficiency, and reduced dwell time.
