Gismart is a developer and publisher of entertainment-focused mobile applications and games. The company specializes in developing mobile apps in a few main categories: wellness, casual and hypercasual games, music, and utility. Two of their flagship applications are Luvly, a yoga and beauty app, and Dancebit, a dancing and weight loss app. Gismart was founded in 2015 by Dmitri Lipnitsky and Alex Minets and is headquartered in London, England.
Gismart offers various applications across the company's different competencies, including categories of mobile games, music apps, wellness apps, and apps available through other platforms, such as Snapchat, Instant Games, and TikTok. These applications are generally offered for iOS and Google Play.
Music One is Gismart's multi-app subscription that allows access to seventeen music apps. The subscription offers the subscriber all premium content across those applications without ads and does not require subscribers to make a time commitment to the subscription. The Music One subscription bundles the most-liked Gismart music apps, including Piano, Beat Maker Go, Hello Piano, Karaoke, Jambl, WeDrum, Piano Way, Beat Jam, Guitar Play, Metronome, Hip Hop Beat Maker, Loop Maker Pro, Equalizer, Soundle, Party Bass Booster, Tuner, and Beat Maker Star.
Gismart's music app, DJ it!, offers users with a subscription to TIDAL to enjoy access to TIDAL's library of over 80 million licensed tracks through Gismart's DJ it! app. This partnership includes access to Hi-Fi and master quality (MQA) sound, with music discovery tools, allowing them to use the tracks in the DJ it! app.
Gismart also entered into a partnership in 2021 with Snap Games, a multi-game, cross-platform partnership through which Snapchat users can play Gismart games. The first game Gismart released on Snapchat was Color Galaxy, a paint-and-capture map game. The second was Crazy Run, which offers a real-time competitive multiplayer game that sees a player overcome obstacles to reach a finish line. The game was initially soft-launched on Snap and reached 7 million players within a month. A third game included in the partnership is Friends Quest, a real-time competitive multiplayer platform game. Between Friends Quest, Color Galaxy, and Crazy Run, the titles have reached almost 90 million players through their Snapchat releases.
As part of the deal, Snap extended its Bitmoji for Games technology and social interactive tools to Gismart, allowing the games developer to introduce Bitmoji avatars into its games, such as the hypercasual title Perfect Expert 3D.
Gismart's publishing division offers third-party developers assistance with launching or reinvigorating idle applications. This includes helping developers get their applications ranked, ensuring they receive downloads and subscriptions, and offering expertise in a variety of areas: app store optimization, user acquisition, monetization, business intelligence, support and community management, and user base management.
Gismart developed an investment program within its publishing division, which grants an investment of up to $1 million dollars on a case-by-case basis to selected developers. Further, the program is intended to provide financial support to its partners, expertise in product management, marketing and growth, and assistance with administrative and legal matters.
