Gordian I, officially known as Marcus Antonius Gordianus Sempronianus Romanus, was born in 158 in Phrygia and passed away on April 4, 238, in Carthage. He held citizenship in Ancient Rome.
Gordian I had several occupations, which included military personnel, politician, and orator. His father was the orator Marcus Antonius.
Gordian I was the father of Balbinus, Pupienus, Gordian II, and Antonia Gordiana.
