Greg Mankiw , born Nicholas Gregory Mankiw on February 3, 1958, in Trenton, New Jersey, is an American economist, educator, and author. He served as the 21st Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers under the United States Government. He is renowned for his work in various fields, including macroeconomics, politics, science, and economy.
Mankiw received his education at various institutions, including Pingry School, Harvard Law School, Princeton University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he obtained his doctorate under the supervision of Stanley Fischer.
