German physicist
Gustav Kirchhoff was a German physicist, chemist, engineer, and mathematician born on March 12, 1824, in Königsberg. Kirchhoff received his education at the University of Königsberg and held German citizenship. During his career, he contributed to various fields of science, including physics and chemistry.
One of his doctoral students was Ivan Borgman. Gustav Kirchhoff died on October 17, 1887, in Berlin and is remembered as an influential figure in the world of science.
