H. E. Carter

H. E. Carter (1910-2007) was an American biochemist born in Mooresville, Indiana. He pursued his education at the University of Illinois System. Throughout his career, he worked as a biochemist and held United States citizenship. Carter had Philip Handler as his doctoral student and was under the supervision of Carl Shipp Marvel as his doctoral advisor. H. E. Carter passed away on March 4, 2007, in Tucson, Arizona.
