Hacettepe University

Hacettepe University, also known as Hacettepe Üniversitesi, is a public educational institute located in Ankara, Turkey. The university was founded on August 7, 1967 and is involved in the education, higher education, and university industries.

The university is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET and the Council of Higher Education in Turkey. Hacettepe University is an organization belonging to the European University Association. The university's motto is "Daha Ileriye... En Iyiye...".

Hacettepe University has its headquarters in Ankara and includes several subsidiary organizations such as the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory and the Hacettepe University Medical School.
