Hal Roach (born Harry Eugene Roach Sr.) was an American film producer, actor, director, screenwriter, and television producer. He was born on January 14, 1892, in New York City, and his nationality was American. Roach was educated at the Elmira Free Academy.
Hal Roach directed numerous films throughout his career, including Spring Fever, Haunted Spooks, and Lonesome Luke, Lawyer. His body of work also includes a variety of other films, such as An Eastern Westerner, Number, Please?, High and Dizzy, and Soft Money.
Hal Roach passed away on November 2, 1992, in Los Angeles. He was a parent, with a child named Hal Roach Jr..
