Japanese physicist
Hantaro Nagaoka (1865-1950) was a Japanese physicist and politician. He was born on August 15, 1865, in Ōmura, Nagasaki, and held Japanese nationality. Nagaoka completed his education at the University of Tokyo and Kaisei Academy. He later passed away on December 11, 1950, in Tokyo.
Hantaro Nagaoka was known for his contributions in the field of physics and had a notable impact on the education of future scientists, including his doctoral student Torahiko Terada.
