HarperCollins is an American book publisher and a subsidiary of News Corp. The company was founded in 1817 by James Harper and has its headquarters at 195 Broadway in New York City. The company is still active today and operates several other subsidiaries, including William Morrow and Company, Harper Perennial, Grafton, Zondervan, Thomas Nelson, Ecco Press, Harlequin Enterprises, and Caedmon Audio.

HarperCollins is located in the United States and is an instance of both a company and an organization. Thomas Nelson, another publisher, owns HarperCollins.

In addition to its subsidiaries, HarperCollins also has strategic partnerships with other organizations, such as the digital book platform Scribd.
