Hartley Coleridge (born September 19, 1796) was a British writer and poet. He was born in Bristol, United Kingdom, and held citizenship in both the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the Kingdom of Great Britain. Coleridge was the child of famous poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Hartley Coleridge attended Merton College at the University of Oxford, where he furthered his education. He went on to pursue a career as a writer and poet, following in his father's footsteps. Coleridge's life came to an end on January 6, 1849, when he died in Bristol. Throughout his life, Hartley Coleridge made a significant impact as a literary figure and established himself as an important member of the Coleridge family legacy.
