American mathematician and logician
Haskell Curry (1900-1982) was an American mathematician, philosopher, and computer scientist known for his work in the field of mathematical logic. He was born in Millis, Massachusetts, and studied at Harvard University. Curry's doctoral advisor was David Hilbert, a prominent German mathematician. Throughout his career, Curry held United States citizenship.
Curry passed away on September 1, 1982, in State College, Pennsylvania.
