Heliant Ventures is a technology venture capital firm in Hong Kong that focuses on providing end-to-end support to its portfolio companies, including leveraging its Asia/Australia relationships to open up sales channels. Founded 2012 in Hong Kong Island by Benjamin Weiss, it invests in early stage ventures and seed rounds. As of March 2020, Heliant Ventures has made 10 investments. Their most recent investment was on October 12, 2017, when SP Nano raised $2.5M. SP Nano is a nanotechnology company commercializing the use of nanoparticles in products made from composite materials. Heliant Ventures has had two exits, the most notable of which include Corephotonics and Pebbles Interfaces. The company has raised three funds, their latest being Heliant Ventures III Ltd.
