Henry the Fowler (born July 7, 876) was a prominent figure in Saxony. Being a citizen of Germany, he was an influential person in their local history. Otto I, Duke of Saxony, was his father. His mother, Hedwiga, also played an essential role in his life.
Henry the Fowler had several notable children, including Henry I, Duke of Bavaria, Hedwig of Saxony, Bruno the Great, Gerberga of Saxony, Thankmar, and Otto I, Holy Roman Emperor. As a father, Henry played a significant role in the lives and development of his children.
He is remembered as the owner of the Albrechtsburg, an iconic castle located in eastern Germany. Henry the Fowler passed away on July 2, 936, in Memleben.
