Herbert Kroemer

Herbert Kroemer is a German-American physicist born on August 25, 1928, in Weimar, Germany . He holds citizenship in both Germany and the United States . Kroemer's career in physics led him to be awarded the 2000 Nobel Prize in Physics .

Kroemer pursued his education at the University of Göttingen and the University of Jena in Germany. He studied under the guidance of Richard Becker, a renowned physicist .
