Hildegard of Bingen was a German writer, composer, philosopher, physician, nun, abbess, and poet. She was born in 1098 in Bermersheim, Germany and died on September 17, 1179 in Bingen am Rhein.
Hildegard was educated at Disibodenberg and went on to found the Eibingen Abbey. She is most well-known for her notable works, Ordo Virtutum and Scivias. Throughout her lifetime, Hildegard made significant contributions to various fields, including writing, music, philosophy, and medicine, with her diverse skill set and extensive knowledge.
