Himeji Castle
Himeji Castle is one of the oldest surviving Japanese castles and the most popular among tourists. It was founded by Takamatsu Sadanori and Ikeda Terumasa. In 1993, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In total, the castle complex includes 83 buildings, almost all of them are built of wood.
