Hiroki Totoki is the president, COO, CFO, and representative corporate executive officer of Sony Group Corporation. He is a chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment and will serve as the company's upcoming interim CEO, effective April 1, 2024. Upon his appointment, he will continue to hold his other roles at Sony and will assist in the search for a permanent CEO.
From 1983 to 1987, Totoki attended Waseda University, where he earned a bachelor of commerce degree.
Totoki has worked within the Sony Group Corporation since 1987, holding a multitude of positions there and within its subsidiaries, including Sony Network Communications, Sony Bank, and Sony Mobile Communications. He helped launch Sony Bank, led several of Sony's business departments, and played a hand in the structural reformation of smartphones in 2014 as president and CEO of Sony Mobile Communications. Totoki has served as Sony Group Corporation's president and COO since April 2023 and its CFO and representative CEO since April 2018. In September 2023, Totoki was appointed as chairman and interim CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, effective in October 2023 and April 2024, respectively.
