Hosain Rahman is an entrepreneur and the founder of Jawbone, a wearable tech company, and all.health, a healthcare platform. Mr. Rahman is also an active investor; he has made investments in Lulu, IfOnly, Summly, Tout, and General Assembly. Hosain Rahman has been acknowledged for his entrepreneurship and success in Fast Company, Vanity Fair, and Fortune. He has been a keynote speaker at TED, DLD, LeWeb, SXSW and the D: Mobile Conference.Hosain Rahman is currently the CEO of all.health.
Hosain studied mechanical engineering earning a bachelors degree from Stanford University in 1999. He went on to start his company AlphiCom, which would become known as Jawbone that same year. The company designed and developed wearable tech devices, including speakers, headphones, and eventually health and fitness monitoring devices. Jawbone saw years of success but began to liquidate assets in 2017.
At this time Rahman, shifted company focus to health monitoring devices, software patents, and more, and rebranded and developed the company as Jawbone Health, a subscription based health monitoring platform that utilizes wearable health trackers. All.health, a similar platform, was also founded by Mr. Rahman in 2017. The all.health platform was designed to give users real-time risk screenings for respiratory infections. Neither of these companies have been fully launched. In 2019, Rahman was able to raise $65.4 million in funding for Jawbone Health.
