Hyundai Venture Investment Corporation is a venture capital firm in Korea that focuses on small and medium enterprises. Founded 1997 in Seoul, South Korea, it is a sub-organization of Hyundai Motor Company. It had 30 billion of paid-in capital since its start. It focuses on companies with innovative technologies but with weak financial and management basis. It also offers services such as management control and technology consulting. The company usually invests in seed rounds and Series B rounds. One of its portfolio companies is Recens Medical, a medical device which can precisely and rapidly cool the surface of the eye; and Swit, a collaboration suite for teams.
