Iggy Pop

Iggy Pop, born as James Newel Osterberg Jr. on April 21, 1947, is an American musician, actor, and songwriter. He's also known as a guitarist and singer, famously using the pseudonym Iggy Pop. Iggy Pop was born in Muskegon, Michigan, and holds United States citizenship.

He's best known for his work in rock music, hard rock, punk rock, and proto-punk. As a singer-songwriter, he has been awarded Grammy Awards and Kerrang! Awards.

Iggy Pop attended Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and later went on to study at the University of Michigan. He has a child named Eric Benson.
