Igor Borovikov graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1986. Continuing his path along the scientific path, in the same year he entered graduate school, and from 1989 to 1992 he worked in the Academy of Sciences system. Igor is a candidate of physical and mathematical sciences and the author of more than 30 scientific papers.
In 1993, Igor Borovikov founded the Softline company. Under his leadership, Softline has become an international IT company, represented in more than 50 countries around the world. Thanks to the managerial talent, intuition and perseverance of the company's leader, Softline, starting with the sales of scientific and mathematical software, today creates the most complex high-tech integrated IT solutions for customers. Today, thousands of customers trust Softline with responsible and important projects, including international corporations and ambitious startups, industry leaders and small firms, government organizations and business sharks.
In 2010 and 2012, Igor Borovikov was named the winner of the "25 best Managers of Russian IT Companies" rating. According to the results of 2013, he was included in the rating "Top 100 Russian Internet millionaires" (the publication "Secret of the Firm"), entered the top 50 domestic venture investors in IT. In 2014, he became the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition in the IT Services category.
In addition to ambitious business projects, Igor Borovikov participates in a number of important public initiatives. So, since 2009, he has been a member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises "Support of Russia" and heads its Information Technology Committee. In 2015, he joined the working group on digital economy development in the Asia-Pacific region, which operates under the auspices of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), one of the five regional commissions of the UN Economic and Social Council.
Igor Borovikov pays a lot of attention to future IT personnel - Softline, together with partners, conducts a number of educational programs aimed at developing talents and standardizing IT training.
