Igor Vladimirovich Rybakov (May 16, 1972, Magnitogorsk) is a Russian entrepreneur, a member of the list of the richest people in Russia according to Forbes magazine 70th place in the rating in 2021 with a fortune of 2 billion US dollars, co-owner of Technonicol Corporation and co-founder of the Rybakov Foundation.

Biography

Born on May 16, 1972 in Magnitogorsk.

In 1989, he graduated from high school with an in-depth study of mathematics, in parallel with this - correspondence physics and technology school at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology MIPT. And then he entered the Faculty of Physical and Quantum Electronics at MIPT.

In 1996 he graduated from MIPT with a degree in engineering physics.

I earned my first capital as a schoolboy in 1988. I worked in a student construction team. He earned a large sum - 1400 Soviet rubles - which at that time was comparable to the annual salary of an engineer.

Philanthropy

In December 2015, Igor Rybakov and his wife Ekaterina created the Rybakov Foundation. The founders of the fund contributed 1 billion rubles. to finance the organization's projects, while they plan to further increase funding.

Igor Rybakov donated $ 1 million dollars to his native school No. 56 in Magnitogorsk to create an endowment - interest from investing funds is spent annually for the benefit of the school (bonuses for teachers, scholarships for students, etc.).

Igor Rybakov said that he and his wife decided not to leave an inheritance to any of their four children. "We will not leave an inheritance to our children. Instead, we will direct most of our family's fortune to the development of education in the country. $100 million will be invested in the next 10 years," Rybakov wrote on his Instagram.

In April 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, Igor Rybakov announced a competition to create a monument to doctors fighting the disease[25]. The finalists of the competition received 100 thousand rubles each.
