Imogen Heap is a British musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, and founder of Mycelia . Born Imogen Jennifer Jane Heap on December 9, 1977, in Romford , she is known for her work in the music industry, especially in the genres of indie rock and electropop .

Heap was educated at the BRIT School and Walden School (Saffron Walden) before embarking on her career as a singer, musician, record producer, and songwriter . Throughout her career, she has received Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical .
