Taipei (Taiwan) - On February 9, BUSINESS WIRE - Infinity Ventures Crypto (IVC) announced the closure of its first $70 million fund. The foundation's goal is to launch and accelerate the growth of global innovations in the GameFi, DeFi and Web 3 segments.
IVC is the most active fund in Asia, aimed at the booming crypto industry of the region, and heavyweights such as Circle, Digital Currency Group and Animoca Brands participate in it. Since its foundation in August 2021, IVC has invested capital and expertise in 78 portfolio companies.With 13 years of experience in the field of traditional venture capital under the auspices of the sister fund Headline Asia, IVC uses its global network to expand the capabilities of blockchain startups around the world, including in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Japan, the USA and other countries. IVC and NP have teamed up to create and incubate their first sub-DAO, NP SEA, which will help provide localized support throughout the Southeast Asia region."Consistent with the IVC concept of helping people with a lack of access or insufficient access to banking services, these games provide additional income to players during a pandemic," Lu said.

Infinite Ventures Crypto was founded to invest in advanced startups in the GameFi, DeFi and Web 3 segments and expand their capabilities. The fund's partners have been investing in crypto assets since 2015 and helping companies navigate the rapidly changing landscape. Since August 2021, IVC has made a number of strategic investments in a variety of startups, including Yield Guild Games and the yen-linked Japanese stablecoin JPYC.
