InterVene, Inc. Announces $13 Million in Series A Funding Round.
InterVene, Inc., a clinical-stage medical device company, has successfully raised $13 million in a Series A funding round. The financing was co-led by Treo Ventures and RiverVest Venture Partners. The funds will be used to advance the development of InterVene's Recana catheter system, aimed at treating chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), and to support U.S. market clearance and commercialization efforts. CEO Jeff Elkins expressed excitement about the partnership, while Treo Ventures’ Brad Vale joined the company’s board. Recana targets recanalization in deep veins and venous stents, addressing a significant medical need.
