International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a company and organization specializing in radio spectrum, satellite navigation, spectrum management, industry association, cybersecurity, and telecommunications. It was founded by Luis Thomas on May 17, 1865. The parent organization of ITU is the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
ITU, with its headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland, plays a role in the management and allocation of radio spectrum. The company is currently active under the leadership of CEO Houlin Zhao.
