The Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) is a state-owned holding company that can be characterized as a sovereign wealth fund owned by the government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Established in May 2006 with the transfer of the government's portfolio of investments from The Department of Finance's Investment Division, its role is to supervise the government's investment portfolio. The company is headed by CEO and Executive director Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani.
The Investment Corporation of Dubai invests in series E, series D, and venture rounds. Its portfolio companies include Indigo AG, Nanotronics Imaging, and Numbrs. As of February 2020, Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) has made four investments. Their most recent investment was on September 18, 2018, when Indigo AG raised $250M. Indigo AG is a company that harnesses nature to help farmers sustainably feed the planet.
