Headquartered in South San Francisco, California, Inxeption was founded by Oracle Corporation veterans Farzad Dibachi, Mark Moore, and Terry Garnett in 2017. Inxeption's product offering primarily focuses on supporting new or existing e-commerce businesses to sell their products by cataloging and digitizing product information. The platform capabilities include data sharing, audit, and information privacy to support regulatory compliance requirements. Their flagship product, Inxeption Zippy, bundles the software with logistic services from UPS to support users for the selling and distributing goods across multiple channels from one location.

In January 2019, UPS venture-capital fund acquired an undisclosed equity state in Inxeption.
