Ithmar is a strategic investment fund established in 2011, with the primary mission to support the economic development of the Kingdom of Morocco. 

As a multisectoral investment vehicle, Ithmar’s objective is to foster investment in the national strategic sectors by developing projects with a strong structural and transformational nature. Being a strategic relay between national priorities and private capital, Ithmar acts as an honest broker and adopts a long-term investment approach, thus consolidating its position as a strategic and patient investor. By operating as a growth catalyzer for future generations, Ithmar is committed to  sustainable economy and intergenerational equity. As a sovereign wealth fund, Ithmar adheres to the Santiago Principles which are conducted by the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) and to which Ithmar has been an active member since 2015.
