JGD Management

JGD Management Corp is a microventure and private equity firm that invests in companies undergoing mergers and acquisitions, distressed and restructuring companies; special situation equity including spin-offs and split-ups; bonds; warrants; and options. Founded 1991 in New York, United States by James Dinan, this firml invests in late stage ventures. Its portfolio companies include InSightec, SnapChat, Blue Sphere, SPARTA Insurance, NetManage, and Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. As of February 2020, York Capital Management has made seven investments. Their most recent investment was on December 14, 2017, when InSightec raised $150M. York Capital Management has had five exits, the most notable of which include SnapChat, Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, and Blue Sphere. York Capital Management has raised a single venture fund, York Tactical Energy Fund. This fund was announced on January 7, 2019 and raised a total of $150M.
