Jack Conway (born July 17, 1887, as Hugh Ryan Conway) was an American actor, film director, and film producer. He was born in Graceville, Minnesota, and held citizenship in the United States. Conway directed numerous films throughout his career, including "Viva Villa!", "Julia Misbehaves", "High Barbaree", "The Hucksters", and "Desire Me", among many others.
In addition to his directorial work, Conway also acted in films and was a film producer. He was often credited as 'Jack' in his films. Some of his other notable directorial efforts include "Lady of the Tropics", "Dragon Seed", "Let Freedom Ring", "Assignment in Brittany", and "Love Crazy".
Jack Conway passed away on October 11, 1952, in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. He had a child named Pat Conway.
