James Worthy

James Worthy (born February 27, 1961) is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and was educated at Ashbrook High School in North Carolina and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Worthy spent his professional basketball career playing in Los Alamitos, California.

Throughout his career, James Worthy received several awards, including being an NBA champion, NBA Finals Most Valuable Player, All-Star Match Member, one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History, and NCAA Champion. He was also awarded the NYCFC Most Valuable Player.
