Janet Yellen

Janet Yellen, born on August 13, 1946, is an economist, professor, and politician. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and is a citizen of the United States. Yellen is an alumna of Yale University and Pembroke College in Brown University. Her doctoral advisor at Yale was James Tobin, and one of her doctoral students is Charles Engel. She has also received the Time 100 award.
